As we head into a new year, our Possibly team decided to think about all of our episodes, and how they might inspire our resolutions for 2025. Here’s what some of us had to say.

Megan Hall Welcome to Possibly where we take on huge problems, like the future of our planet, and break them down into small questions with unexpected answers. I’m Megan Hall.

As we head into a new year, our Possibly team decided to think about all our episodes and how they might inspire our resolutions for 2025. Here’s what some of us had to say.

Christine Okulo Hi, my name is Christine Okulo. I’m a reporter for Possibly, and my New Year’s resolution is to start using more reusable coffee mugs.

Isha Thakkar Hi, I’m Isha Thakkar. I’m a reporter for Possibly, and I was inspired by the How can Buses become a Climate Solution episode. My New Year’s resolution is to replace some of my Uber rides with RIPTA rides.

Will Malloy My name is Will Malloy. I’m Possibly’s senior reporter and my resolution is to take better care of my bike so that I ride it more than I drive.

Emma Mejia My name is Emma Mejia, and I’m a reporter for Possibly, and my New Year’s resolution is to learn basic sewing skills so that I can repair my clothing instead of throwing it out and buying more clothing.

Megan Hall Hello, my name is Megan Hall and I am the host of Possibly. Last year my resolution was to look into getting heat pumps, and I unfortunately didn’t do that at all. So I guess I’m going to re-up that resolution and really focus this time. Maybe it’s time to switch.

Cameron Leo My name is Cameron Leo and I’m a student reporter for Possibly.

Hamid Torabzadeh My name is Hamid Torabzadeh and I am a student reporter for Possibly too.

Cameron Leo We both have the same resolution we found out, which is to take shorter showers that are also maybe less steaming hot.

Megan Hall Why this resolution?

Hamid Torabzadeh I want to save water and save on energy costs, too.

Cameron Leo We’ll start lukewarm. Maybe one day we’ll be taking really cold showers because that’s also really good for you.

Stephen Porder Hi, this is Stephen Porder, co-founder of Possibly. I think it’s finally time to start charging myself a hefty carbon tax if I fly. I still fly for things that I like to do, even though I know that it’s causing more climate change than it should. So what I’m going to do is I’m going to set aside an extra bunch of money every time I fly and buy high quality carbon offsets to help reduce the impact of what I’m doing for fun.

Iman Khanbhai Hi, I’m Iman Khanbhai. I’m a reporter for Possibly, and my resolution is that I’m going to play the climate change game so that I can figure out my superpower.

Nat Hardy My name’s Nat Hardy and I’m the managing producer for Possibly. My New Year’s resolution this year is to try to convince my roommates to start composting. I keep on working on these stories about how much of a difference there is in emissions between sending food scraps to the landfill versus a compost. So I’d love to start composting.

Megan Hall Anything else you want to say?

Charlie Adams Go Possibly!

Megan Hall Happy New Year.

Stephen Porder Happy New Year.

Nat Hardy Happy New Year!
